Welcome Cyber Riskers; you're in for a treat! More than 120 members meet regularly every quarter to hear from esteemed industry panels and our Executive leaders. With the ever-changing landscape of our world, it is important to continually equip our community with industry experience sharing and the exchange of knowledge.

 

The Program:

6pm: Welcome address 

6.30pm: 'How I almost got fired as a CISO' - The good, bad and ugly, stories from the frontline.

This keynote by 'Cyber Risk Leaders' special feature: Dan Lohrmann, former CISO for the US State of Michigan, includes plenty of true stories of real failures and successes over the past decade that will truly be beneficial for any industry professionals with a career in Cyber Risk.

7pm: A panel lineup of C-executive speakers will be bringing us into their world and sharing their experiences through the lens of the CFO, CISO, CRO, CIO, COO and CEO. The panel will also discuss a variety of topics across CISO strategy, Cyber Resilience, Addressing Risk, Building Culture and Changing Mindsets. 

 

The audience is encouraged to participate, ask questions and give feedback.

SPEAKERS BIO

Dan Lohrmann is an internationally recognized cybersecurity leader, technologist and author. Starting his career at NSA, Lohrmann has served global organizations in the public and private sectors in many leadership capacities. As a top Michigan Government technology executive for seventeen years, Dan was national CSO of the Year, Public Official of the Year and a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader. He is currently CSO & Chief Strategist at Security Mentor, where he advises global and local corporations and governments on cybersecurity and technology infrastructure strategies and security culture change. He has been a keynote speaker at security conferences from South Africa to Europe and Washington D.C. to Moscow.

Elrich Engel is the Group Head of Cyber Security and Digital Protection of AMP. A seasoned security professional with a passion for cyber security governance, performance-based security management and threat intelligence. He has over 12 years of IT and network security engineering experience with certifications in the areas of Security Leadership, Security Architecture, IT Service Management (ITIL) and IT Governance (COBIT), amongst others. Elrich has held leadership positions at Vodacom South Africa, where we was responsible for building the security capability across a number of Vodafone markets in the region, as well as roles with Sensis, the South African Government, and various system integrators.

Jeff McArthur is an internationally experienced Banker having been in the Financial Services Industry for over 20 years in the UK/Europe, New Zealand and Australia. This has included roles within Banking, Wealth, including insurance and investments including brands such as Lloyds Banking Group, Scottish Widows and Standard Life. Jeff was previously a Head of Compliance and also Head of Digital Risk at Westpac for 7 years prior to joining Greater Bank in 2019 as the Chief Risk Officer with accountabilities for all financial and non-financial risk.

Paula Kensington was awarded the CFO of the Year (2013) in the Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting Excellence Awards, she has driven huge business turnaround projects in her roles as CFO and COO in ASX technology companies and large UK and Internationally complex service businesses. She has spearheaded acquisitions, driving revenue and operational performance, inspiring teams to create shareholder value and empower leadership teams from the inside out. In addition to her business, Paula serves on two Audit and Risk committees and on the Global Council Board of the ACCA (Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants). The work she does through these voluntary roles adds weight to her global change maker attitude enabling her to build global communities such as CFO Conversations and The LBD Group. Her passion to bring people together, to connect, be inspired and learn from each other creates environments in which professionals are able to pull together and succeed in a sustainable way.
